Moving Up in the International Rankings
UC3M has substantially improved its position in the main international rankings, both institutionally and per different areas of knowledge.
In 2012, UC3M appears for the first time within the Top 50 of the QS Rankings Under 50, which highlights the youngest universities from around the world that have been established since 1962.
The university’s position in the 2012 QS World University Ranking continues to improve, currently standing 343rd globally among nearly 900 top universities from around the world.
UC3M stands 50th among nearly 500 universities in the 2012 SCIMAGO Latin American Ranking.
In the 2012 IUNE Spanish University Ranking, the university stands 2nd due to the number of six-year periods per tenured professor, and among the Top 8 universities with most indexed articles per professor.
In the area of Economics & Management of the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU-Shanghai), UC3M stands between positions 101-151 in 2012.
